I just got word today that early registration for the 2008 GPUG Summit ends this Friday, 8/15. The GPUG Summit is September 22-24 in beautiful Las Vegas. You can still register after Friday but if you hurry, you can get the early registration discount and spend the difference on slots. Shhh... I won't tell anybody.
GPUG is the Dynamics GP User Group and you don't have to be a member to attend the summit. They'll still let you in if you just want to see what this user group is all about. Fortunately, it's a worthy event, not just an excuse to go to Vegas (like you need one). The GPUG sponsored sessions at Convergence were way over attended so I expect good things from the summit.
