In case you've missed, you still have a chance to attend SQL Saturday this weekend in Orlando. I've been to SQL Saturdays in Orlando and Jacksonville before and they've both been great events. I've also heard some good things about the recent Greenville, SC event.
SQL Saturday is a free, full day training event around SQL Server and related technologies like BI and MOSS. The speaker's are mostly local and very accessible. The upcoming Orlando event has nearly 400 people registered but there is still room for you. I've had too much to do lately so I'm not speaking this time. You won't have to endure that and that's even more reason to go.
