You, Me and Dynamics GP
There are a lot of SQL scripts for reporting floating around the internet (and this site). But many times people don't know how to apply them because they don't have Smartlist or Excel Builder, don't know SSRS and don't have another tool like Crystal Reports.
Well, don't forget about the power of Microsoft Excel as a delivery vehicle for reports. You don't have to have Excel Builder, it just makes things easier. Excel MVP Nick Hodge has a great tutorial on connecting to external data Excel. (Hint, click the "Read Article" button in the middle.)
It's not GP specific but all the steps also apply to GP and if you are using someone else's prebuilt script, you don't even need to know the table structures!
