Many of you don't know who he is and that's a shame. David Maister is a writer and consultant who specialized in improving professional service firms, like law firms, accounting firms, engineers and even Dynamics partners. He announced yesterday that he is officially retiring and will not be writing, speaking or consulting any more. His work, research and emphasis on professionalism is simply untouched when it comes to professional service firms. There are precious few gurus who specialize in this type of company and David's work stands above the rest. We will miss David but at least we have his books to carry us forward. David, we wish you all the best.
