Patrick details a Dex.ini switch for GP 10 and GP 2010 that significantly speeds up SmartList exports to Excel. On a run of the mill laptop running GP 2010 I loaded a SmartList with 22,229 records. It took 1 minute, 15 seconds to load the window and a mere 27 seconds to send that data to Excel. All of us will be adding this to our list of Dex.ini switches. You should too, right now.
