I’ve had this great tip in the original 50 tips for 2 years now. Tip #10 demonstrated how to get fast journal entry lookups when correcting or copying a journal entry. All it required was adding a non-clustered index to the open and history GL tables. Well I see now that in GP 2010 this has been corrected and I can pull this tip out of the rotation. Thanks for the fix Microsoft. It’s nice to have these concrete examples of fixes.This week’s Weekly Dynamic is don’t apply this fix after upgrading to GP 2010 because it’s already there!
