You, Me and Dynamics GP
Christina Phillips digs into Activity Tracking and Dynamics GP. The problem is that most of the activities that people want to track aren’t covered in Activity Tracking. The most common questions I see are:
- Who changed/created this record/setting?
- Who posted that?
- Who is still active in the system?
Activity tracking really doesn’t address these. Audit Trail software can, but not after the fact. You have to set it up before you have an issue.
I still prefer FastPath’s Audit Trail software to the native GP offering for speed, better reporting and greater flexibility.
