Sheldon from Etelligent asks Should You Post in Summary or Detail Within Dynamics GP?
I have some strong thoughts on this. Posting in summary makes matching the subledger to the GL incredibly cumbersome if you get out of balance. It makes it impossible to use tools like The Closer to assist with balancing. I have yet to see a scenario where the benefits of posting in summary outweigh the negatives for most accounts.
