As part of a continuous effort to simplify and streamline our business, on July 1, 2006, Microsoft Business Solutions will be merged with Microsoft Corporation. With this change in legal structure, you will see some minor changes such as: legal name change, sales tax processing, tax exempt status and payment processing. Please take the appropriate action to make sure the records are updated.
I know there have been a few doubts about Microsoft's commitment, given the long money losing history of the Dynamics lines but the money poured into the products, into Convergence and finally this should announcement should signal Microsoft's commitment. It's a lot tougher to dump divisions that are fully integrated. I also suspect it's going to be a lot tougher to further your career in Microsoft from Fargo or Finley.
