For those of you who like pain because it proves you're still alive, the latest Community Technology Preview for SQL Server 2008 is available. Go here to get it. Be warned, you have to jump through some hoops and sign up for the CTP program. There's some pain just to get the bits and no guarantee that you'll be accepted. For the bureaucratic pain of signing up, you'll receive the pain of untested SQL bits. In fairness, SQL just tends to be more stable than other apps, including the betas I've worked with, but this is pretty early in the process so don't call me if you break stuff!
